What is Consumer-Opinion.com?

Consumer-Opinion.com offers consumers the opportunity to register, for free and without commitment, for online surveys on the internet and product tests.

How does remuneration for surveys work?

We will pay you the amount indicated in the invitation email for participating in a survey. The amount you will be paid is generally related to the length of the questionnaire. It is entirely up to you whether or not you participate in any particular survey. Payment will be credited to your Consumer-Opinion.com account after you have completed the survey honestly, and in full.

When your credit is at least 10 Euros, you can request the payment of the credit amount into your personal bank account by bank transfer. If you live in the UK and have a sterling account at your local bank, you will automatically receive the amount in GBP at the current exchange rate without any hassle.

In your personal login area, you will find an overview of your current credits, previous payments made and the status of payments currently being processed. You therefore have a complete overview of your Consumer-Opinon.com account at all times.

So how does it work in practice?

Once you have registered at Consumer-Opinion.com, we will invite you by email to participate in our surveys. The email invitation will always state the amount you will be paid for your participation. You can choose whether or not you wish to take part.

Surveys sometimes take just one or two minutes to complete. Most surveys take around ten to fifteen minutes. The invitation will indicate the length of time required.

We try to credit payment to your Consumer-Opinion.com account within 6-8 weeks after completion of the survey. As soon as your credit has reached 10.00 Euro, the function "request payment" is automatically enabled und you can enter your bank details and request a payout. Usually once a month we wire you the money.

What are the surveys about?

You may receive surveys on a wide range of topics, products and services. You may be asked for your opinion about newspaper or television advertisements, product packaging, companies or social institutions, or which magazines and newspapers you read or are familiar with. Some surveys are concerned with brand new products which you, as a tester, will see for the first time, and may even be able to try out.

How do I take part?

You need to complete the short registration questionnaire, including a valid email-address so that we can send you surveys. Click on the Register link at the top of this page. After having reached 10 Euros, to request the payment-transfer you need to enter a personal bank account. If you live in the UK and have a sterling account at your local bank, you can use it and receive the amount in GBP.

Can I register without any commitment?

Yes! We do not require any commitment from you. If you don’t want to take part in a survey, you don’t have to. And if you want to stop receiving email invitations from us, you can terminate your membership of Consumer-Opinion.com at any time.

Is it really completely free?

Yes! You pay no costs or fees whatsoever.

How many surveys do I get and how much money do I earn?

Unfortunately we can never tell when or how often a panel member will be invited to take a survey in the future. Thus, we can not estimate a monthly income. We co-operate with many companies from very different sectors and each survey has its own topic and target group. We will only invite you if we believe that you fit the requested target group but we assure you that we check this every time.

Where can I enter my banking information?

If your credit is at least at 10 EURO, you can request payment of the credit amount into your personal bank account by bank transfer. As soon as 10 EURO are reached, you will see a button to request payment and the input fields for typing in your banking information in your login area.

How can I unsubscribe?

We respect your privacy. If you no longer wish to receive emails by us, log in with your email-address and your personal password and click 'terminate membership' to be deleted from the email list. If you forgot your password, you can use the password reminder function there, too. The email address you registered is the address to which we send our invitations for surveys.

I have newly registered: How does it start? Where are the surveys? When do I get my first survey?

After you have registered, we will send you email invitations: You will NOT find the surveys within your login area. Some respondents are invited directly after their registration. But for others it can take a couple of weeks or even longer, dependent on our order situation and the data you filled in at your registration. So please do not worry in case you should not be invited to surveys directly after your registration.

Where is my credit for a recent survey?

We add the credits for all participants at once, after the survey is done and a few checks are made. We try hard to grant credits within 30 days. However, sometimes this does not work, e.g. if the survey takes longer than 4 weeks or if we are waiting to receive participant data by our customers, who sometimes deliver the data with a delay. So please have some patience if it should take longer before you see your credit: After max. 6-8 weeks all credits should be uploaded!

By when do I receive my money on my bank account?

Requested payments are transacted as 'collective transfer'. We use the standard European bank transfer system: Therefore, UK participants having a sterling account at their bank will receive GBP at the current exchange rate. Dependent on the number of payment requests we receive we transact collective transfer about 1 time per month at the moment. As a result it should not take longer than 4 weeks until you have the money on your bank account.

I do not find the confirmation email in my post box.

First wait some time, since some email providers deliver emails slowly sometimes. After that, control your spam folder, as often our activation email is falsely classified. At that occasion we recommend to whitelist mails from web[at]consumer-opinion.com and surveys[at]consumer-opinion.com within your spam filter. Make sure that your post box is not full. Controll for typos in your registered email address. If all that does now work, you may try to register a second time, but just USE ONLY ONE (!) account.

Data protection

The contact details (such as name, address, e-mail address) will not be passed to third parties. Consumer-opinion.com is the online panel of a market research field institute and may not use your details for any purpose other than market research.

You will not be sent any third party advertising, other than for the purpose of obtaining your opinion as a consumer, and your details will not be used for direct marketing, spam or similar. In all correspondence or emails from us the sender will be Consumer-Opinion.com or consumerfieldwork.com and will be clearly indicated.
